Initiation and Scheme Preparation
Early in the year, PT PDP Indonesia founding team, consisting of experts in data security, law, and information technology, began developing a professional certification scheme specifically for personal data protection. This process involved:
- Industry needs study
- Analysis of national regulations (UU PDP) and International (GDPR, ISO 27701)
- Discussions with professional associations and experts
Submission to BNSP
- DPO certification scheme
- LSP organizational structure
- SOP and implementation of competency tests
- Support from professional associations, universities, and industry partners
- Statement of office use, TUK, and infrastructure support
Document Assessment and Desk Evaluation
Once the certification scheme is ready, we officially submit the LSP license application to BNSP by including complete documents, including:
- DPO certification scheme
- LSP organizational structure
- SOP and implementation of competency tests
- Support from professional associations, universities, and industry partners
- Statement of office use, TUK, and infrastructure support
Witness Competency Tests
One important stage is the implementation of the initial competency test (witness), which is directly supervised by the BNSP verification team.
This activity is carried out at a prepared competenct test location, involving:
- Assessees (test participants) from professional circles
- Certified assessors
- Submission to the competency units of the DPO scheme
Plenary session and license issuance
After all stages were declared to have met the standards, the National Agency for Standardization (BNSP) held a plenary meeting to determine the certification. The BNSP then officially issued a licensing decree.
Declaring the LSP PDP Indonesia licensed and authorized to conduct professional certification tests in the field of personal data protection.
