A training certificate doesn’t automatically qualify to become a DPO. A competent DPO must have official certification from the National Agency for the investigation of Personnel (BNSP), not just a regular training certificate!

What is LSP PDP Indonesia?
LSP PDP Indonesia is a Professional Certification Institute that focuses on competency certification in the field of Perlindungan Data Pribadi dan Keamanan Siber, license from BNSP (Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi).

The main schemes currently are:
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION WORK PROGRAM PLANNING with 5 core competency units. Additional schemes will be developed for other related professions.
Do i have to take training before taking certification?
Training is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended to better prepare participants for the competency test, especially those who are not familiar with PDP standards or regulations.

How long does the certification process take to get a certificate?
The certification process generally takes between 14–30 working days from the assesment, depending on the completeness of the documents and test results.
Are the certificates issued nationally recognized?
Yes. Certificates issued by LSP PDP Indonesia are recognized by BNSP and are valid nationally in Indonesia.
